What we hold, and why.
Written to be read rather than to be defensible. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will rewrite it.
Last updated 1 September 2026.
The short version. We collect what we need to run your coaching and nothing else. We do not sell data, do not run advertising trackers, and do not share your promises with anybody outside your Keeper and one operations person. You can have everything deleted by sending one email.
Who we are
Promise Keepr Ltd, London, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described here. Contact: privacy@promisekeepr.com.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address, and your WhatsApp number if you give us one.
- Your promises and sealed days — the text you wrote, and whether each day was kept, owned or unsealed.
- Messages with your Keeper — held so your Keeper has context and so we can review quality.
- Billing records — handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
- Basic technical logs — server logs containing IP address and page requested, kept for 30 days for security.
What we do not collect
- No advertising identifiers, no third-party ad pixels, no cross-site tracking.
- No health data. Please do not put clinical information in your promises; if you need that kind of support, your Keeper will help you find it elsewhere.
- No location tracking.
Why we are allowed to hold it
For most of it, because we need it to perform the contract you entered into when you subscribed. For the security logs, our legitimate interest in keeping the service running safely. For any marketing email, your consent, which you can withdraw with one click.
Who else sees it
Your Keeper. One operations person, if there is a support issue. Our payment processor for billing, our email provider for delivery, and our hosting provider for the site itself. Nobody else, and we do not sell or rent anything to anyone.
Creator partners never see member names, promises or Ledgers. They see a count and a join date.
How long we keep it
While you are a member, and for six months after you cancel in case you come back. Billing records are kept for six years because UK tax law requires it. You can ask us to delete everything sooner and we will.
Your rights
- Ask for a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything wrong.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Ask us to stop processing it, or object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Ask for your data in a portable format.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you think we have got it wrong.
Email privacy@promisekeepr.com and we will respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Where your data lives
In the UK and the European Economic Area. Some of our suppliers process data in the United States under approved transfer mechanisms. We will tell you here if that changes.
Changes to this notice
If we change anything that materially affects you, we will email every member rather than quietly updating the date at the top.
